You can avoid the clunkiness of Salesforce notes by using the clean UI of Scratchpad. It is easy to use and critical for sales note organization and updates your Salesforce fields for you.
My company has many required fields on opportunities and they are all over the place. Using Scratchpad lets us create shortcuts to only enter in the data we need in an order that makes sense to salespeople… Scratchpad optimizes our organizations business processes for Salesforce.
I use Scratchpad EVERY DAY. It saves me a ton of time and gives me more visibility into my pipeline.
Scratchpad improves the accuracy of forecast data by making it easier for reps to keep opportunities correctly updated.
Elegance in simplicity. Forecast is more accurate, no deals get missed, data is updated quickly and in real-time from the field.
Amazing experience using Scratchpad for Salesforce. It has immensely streamlined my workflow!
If you are in sales and use Salesforce as your CRM then you need to take a look at Scratchpad!
Wunna Hlaing & Sam Brewer Thank you for helping us get started on Scratchpad! It's going to give our team back hours in the day to focus on working with prospects/customers vs. SFDC data entry. The UI and ease of use are really great! Congrats to the team!
I would highly recommend Scratchpad. It is a game-changer. Pipeline hygiene was a huge issue at my org. With Scratchpad it is now no longer an issue. The support is amazing, the team leads training, and the new features that are launching are always relevant!
I first was hooked when I saw the task workflow in Scratchpad since using the native tasks in Salesforce was never as smooth as I wanted. After a month of heavy use I calculated I was handling 50% more tasks just by using Scratchpad. I never went back!
The pipeline view was a similar revelation in the immediate filtering, field updates and data manipulation. Now pipeline reviews and my monthly planning are both much faster processes than before and I'm able to spend more time on output, which has led to a significant increase in new business closed per month.
Keeps everything on one page without having to load a new page or hit edit constantly… It gives us a ‘One page view’ for all of the company's opportunies and customers… Must-have for any Salesforce user.
Scratchpad modernized our team to make the sales process more efficient… provide a better customer experience on the sales side, that's a differentiator from another company in our space.
In terms of the data that's being put in, opportunities are not missing next steps, there are thorough notes and there's a lot more ability for Ops and Leadership to gain insight into the state of the pipeline when [we’re] doing analysis. And it’s thanks to the data that reps are inputting.
Before we implemented Scratchpad, our average sales cycle was 50 days. After using Scratchpad for just 2 months it sales cycle improved to 35 days. We’ve become a quicker, more efficient team.
My SalesForce forecast is always current. Users of Scratchpad are much more likely to have good SF hygene, improving the organization's ability to forecast business accurately and plan accordingly.
Productivity, productivity, productivity! Scratchpad gives our reps the ability to add more notes and updates to all of our opportunities. That means more info getting put into SFDC, which creates better and easier collaboration with management.
Productivity on our team skyrocketed, allowing me to spend more time in front of customers, ultimately making the company more money and providing a better customer experience.
It’s clean, simple, easy to use and makes me and my team’s use of SFDC faster and more efficient - especially around updating a lot of opportunities and quickly searching for information.
Amazing, amazing, amazing. It will get rid of the millions of salesforce tabs, actually allow you to navigate your tasks from a single screen, customize views to how you want them to look, and save your literally hours on manually clicking through SFDC. No questions asked, you need it.
Opportunity management and territory planning used to be so painful and laborious before our team rolled out Scratchpad. Now, it's easier to update opportunities to keep sales leadership in sync and take an accurate holistic view of one's book of business.
I’d recommend anyone using salesforce that hasn’t tried SCRATCHPAD to check them out. I wish I'd been introduced to their UX a long time ago. Makes interacting with SFDC and managing teams a more intuitive and faster experience than any version of SFDC I've encountered. They have a free version, too!
Quick one: If you use Salesforce but you hate the laborious slowness of doing small regular updates to (for eg) opportunities, adding meeting notes etc - try this awesome little Chrome Extension we have found called Scratchpad. It turns the Salesforce experience into something more like using an Excel Spreadsheet - and the support / engagement is from real people! Top marks! #salesforcecrm #salesforceadmin #scratchpad
Ah, Scratchpad Command. I didn't know I missed you until I got you. When you're making calls & sending emails and you get a warm conversation with some information other than a meeting, it's the second best outcome you can hope for. But when you're on a roll, stopping and navigating into Salesforce to input Future Interest Date, Account Notes or update the customer’s current software solution, it’s guaranteed to break your workflow. So I did what many sales people do which is make a list of all the updates I have to make and save it for an hour on Friday (tgif, am I right?) but it doesn't always happen. When I found out about Scratchpad Command I stared at it with my mouth slightly agape marveling at the beauty of it. No more navigating something reminiscent of AOL 1999 (I kid). Dare I say keeping clean notes and Salesforce as a single source of truth is actually enjoyable now. Thanks Scratchpad, y'all are the real heroes.
When AEs spend less time navigating through Salesforce, they spend more time leaving more detailed information that will get them the sale and provide the information onboarding/support desires. It’s a no-brainer.
Scratchpad has been a huge productivity gain for my team. We spend less time filling out information in Salesforce and more time closing!!
10 stars out of 5 if I could do it. Super easy to set up and use and the new features they roll out are always things I didn't realize I needed but absolutely did.
Scratchpad is transforming our pipeline management. We're seeing the impact it's having on our operational rhythm firsthand. Keeping Tabs on Pipeline: Scratchpad has become our team's trusted companion for pipeline tracking, ensuring everyone stays on top of their deals, from pipeline updates to next steps and general Salesforce hygiene.Zero Boards: We're pumped about the new Zero Boards feature. Having a clean and simple view that highlights priority deals and keeps us focused on what matters most every single day. Efficiency: With Scratchpad, we're not just managing deals; we're more efficient. By integrating it consistently across our team, we're gearing up for improved forecasting and pipeline hygiene, which are crucial for our fast-paced sales cycle.• Insights That Matter: Scratchpad gives us the clarity we need to identify priority deals and track changes effortlessly. It's like having a roadmap to success.
Updating Salesforce has never been easier. At the beginning of every month I do a pipeline review to make sure I am on top of all of my opportunities. Using Scratchpad has saved me tons of clicks and hours waiting for information to load within Salesforce by providing a quicker and easier way to update fields as well as tiles that act as a template allowing me to quickly have all the fields I need to update in one location.
Before I would spend at least an hour before our weekly pipeline meetings to make updates on deals. This would mean opening up almost every opp to update next steps, dates, notes, etc.
Now I will do a lot of this more ad-hoc because it's so simple to do in Scratchpad and I only spend about 10 minutes to make the same weekly updates I was doing before.
Inbox & Deal Alerts give our sales managers more opportunities to coach reps. It also provides a collaborative place for AEs and Sales Leaders.
If the data is bad, so is your forecast. Scratchpad makes sure this isn’t the case.
I love Scratchpad and can't imagine my day-to-day without it. It makes the process of updating Salesforce 1000x more painless and efficient. The team is also AMAZING - so helpful in getting me up and running, responsive, and constantly open to user feedback. I would highly recommend this tool to all sales rep!
Let me tell you about a company that has provided an amazing customer experience. When I was at Divvy I stumbled across Scratchpad and it turned out it was a pretty great tool for helping reps update their salesforce opps quickly and manage their pipeline.
One of their reps Wunna Hlaing reached out and walked me through how to use it. He then scheduled a meeting for the CEO Pouyan Salehi to come and listen to the sales reps using it so they they could build more features to help our team. This is all without us paying a dime to Scratchpad. No contract pressure, no end of month promos. Just helped us use it and provided value.
That alone is commendable and worth giving them a look.
When I got laid off - Wunna kept in touch, and made sure I landed on my feet. When I moved over to eFileCabinet, Wunna didn't reach out to me. I reached out to him. He took time and attention to meet my needs, even when he had nothing to gain. And earned a lifelong customer.
In sales, it's easy to lose sight of the effectiveness of patience, listening, and giving. Sometimes you need to be aggressive and push for the deal, but other times, just being a good person, providing value, and fostering a partnership helps much more in the long run. I'd recommend Scratchpad to everyone in my network.
Scratchpad helps us move opportunities through the pipeline way more efficiently and effectively and in a friendlier way than AE’s were previously trying to do with just Salesforce. For them, Scratchpad is actually fun to use which makes them want to move their deals through the pipeline. If Scratchpad were removed, I think people would legitimately be upset. This is how salespeople will interact with Salesforce in the future at nearly every single company.
Scratchpad helped organize our remote sales team… The ability for remote reps and managers to collaborate in a simple and easily digestible pipeline review… With Scratchpad I have all the information needed in a view that's understandable and customizable to my needs.
It turns the beast of Salesforce into a beautiful experience… It’s a great mix of features without complexity.
PSA: If you're in sales, use Salesforce, and you AREN'T using Scratchpad, then you are a damn fool. I'm blown away at how much time it is saving our team, with updating opps, next steps, notes, etc.
I don't work for Scratchpad, receive any compensation, nothing. I'm just an absolute #ravingfan of what they're doing. No more dealing with "editing record fails" because someone is editing it at the same time.
Trust me, download it. There's no easier way to improve salesforce hygiene, than this tool right here. You can thank me later.
I brought Scratchpad in after seeing folks talk about it on LinkedIn. It was easy to set up and now we're paying for it across our entire team. Scratchpad is great for adding information off any page using the command+J function. Forecasting 1:1s with reps by pulling up reports and also using command+J function to edit core fields (i.e. Next Steps, etc.) is a huge benefit. Scratchpad provides in-line editing that's wider than what you get from Salesforce's List View. You can easily create and share templates to the team as well as creating notes from a Google Calendar event.
I love ScratchPad. Every time I use it I feel like I've just megged both Messi and Ronaldo in a single touch. If you use Salesforce and are feeling a lot of pain you need to check out Scratchpad. It'll help you streamline and centralize your notes, task management, and pipeline updates. Truly a salesperson's dream.
I hadn't actually loved using a product in such a long while. Until yesterday, when I received personalized onboarding from Scratchpad.
I already know it's going to be a huge part of my workflow.
Scratchpad is the best way for updating my pipeline on a daily basis. I'm always looking for ways to manage more deals at one time and scratchpad helps me stay organized while increasing my ability to manage more deals at once.
Honestly, I hardly open SFDC windows unless I absolutely have to. Scratchpad just works better and looks better. And then I don't have to deal with multiple clicks to update and save my updates for each opportunity. Additionally, creating tasks for myself is extremely simple using Scratchpad.
I'm a big fan of their customer success and product team as well. They are quick to implement new ideas and I've had several team members jump on calls to ask me more about my use cases.
Scratchpad makes it super easy to train new AEs the ins and outs of pipeline maintenance and getting started with Salesforce. Scratchpad keeps reps focused on the things that matter most and shortens that ramp period so they can focus on building pipeline and maintaining it.
If you're a salesperson and you're company uses Salesforce CRM... you need to use Scratchpad. It will save you time/money and help you get better control over your deals. Use it everyday and I tell every salesperson I know about it. Highly recommended!
If anyone is looking to make working in Salesforce less painful, you have to check out Scratchpad!
Scratchpad saves me a ton of time on double entry, extra clicks, sifting through Salesforce, and updating spreadsheets. It allows my manager to see what I'm doing in real time so they don't have to ask me about it over slack or in person.
Scratchpad has fundamentally changed our workflow for the better. It effortlessly identifies key opportunities and simplifies record updates in Salesforce for our reps. We've already seen its potential in various departments like customer success and events. During our Monday meetings, transitioning from Excel spreadsheets to Scratchpad revealed crucial gaps in our Salesforce data. Despite initial adjustments, conversations with our team members have shown promising progress. Seeing opportunities populated with next steps and dates, previously elusive through spreadsheets and Salesforce, is incredibly rewarding. Scratchpad has truly been a game-changer for us.
I love Scratchpad. I have never dunked on LeBron James, but I imagine it brings the same amount of joy as using Scratchpad.
Do it now! It's one of the better decisions of add-ons to using Salesforce I've done. Saves my team a million clicks and keeps our pipeline up to date and clean. It's simple enough that not a single sales manager on our team complains about pipeline reviews anymore, and for that I'm forever grateful!
Unparalleled power and so simple to use. It gives us massive pipeline management time saving, rep adoption on field fills that are required, but not mandatory, and opportunity right-sizing + accurate next steps.
One of the most frustrating things you might hear from a sales manager: 'Is you forecast in Salesforce up to date?' As we all know, updating SFDC is tedious and requires far too many clicks/loads to provide simple updates. Scratchpad solves this in an elegant way, allowing you to instantly update records from one view. One of the best sales productivity tools I have seen! Props to the team here as they are always willing to help if you have any questions.
This is a tool that salespeople love using and leadership can drive consistent process and adherence to process. It solves the problems that salesforce can’t. We’re making a big effort to solve a big problem and this is what your team is going to like the best.
I've been using Scratchpad since making my latest move to Mixpanel, and it's my favorite piece of our CSM/RM/AE tech stack. Like the rest of the world, I've used Salesforce for years and always felt like it was a bit cumbersome to interact with and a requirement from management, not a tool for client facing users. Scratchpad totally filed down those rough edges into a core experience I'm loving.
It’s my bible each quarter. I don’t go a day without looking at it.
You mean I don't have to log into Salesforce?? Sign me up! I love using Scratchpad and the time it saves me not having to wait for Salesforce to load is amazing! They are constantly updating the App and I love what this team is building!
"From a RevOps perspective, Scratchpad drives adoption. It's super easy to create templates for things I want to capture. There are no vendors or platforms similar or do the same things with the ease and speed."
Scratchpad is amazing and saves me so much time when updating my sales pipeline that would normally take hours in Salesforce. The team there is great, too! Scratchpad is saving my life.
Scratchpad is a huge time saver. Great product and your team should be rewriting Salesforce's UI/UX! Great tool.
“With Scratchpad we were able to drive the desired behaviors and get key insights with CoM + MEDDIC + Forecast inputs to help drive predictability, and our team didn’t need to take on a change management effort because salespeople already loved using the product. One of the examples beyond just better context on deals and adherence to our methodology, Scratchpad was launched to help with our AE and SDR teams jointly collaborating on outbound and territory management.”
RevOps teams need to ensure data accuracy in Salesforce for every deal, at every stage of the sales cycle, across their entire global sales organization. Keeping this data up to date without burdening the sales team was a big focus for our organization. At Lacework, we found the solution we were looking for in Scratchpad, which removed the pain associated with updating records in Salesforce, provided the team with a workspace they liked, and made it super easy for them to keep their forecast updated. The result has been improved forecast accuracy, a higher level of data fidelity, and insights into where our sales management need to focus their coaching and sales enablement efforts. It’s been a win for both Sales and RevOps. Sales is able to reduce their administrative workload, save time, and stay better organized, while the RevOps team is able to make smarter decisions knowing the data they are basing them on is up to date and accurate.
Large-scale record updates (i.e. updating sales team accounts, re-segmenting accounts en masse, quickly making manual adjustments without needing to click in to each Salesforce record) -- This saves me up to 5+ hours per week… Clean up projects: removing and/or reassigning junk records in Salesforce in bulk -- This has provided clarity and focus to our sales teams; they no longer have to wade through bad data.
Scratchpad is the easiest and quickest way to update my pipe. It saves me a lot of time and headache from working in Salesforce. It is really intuitive and hasn't required any time upfront to learn how to use. Wunna is awesome and very helpful as well!
YOOOOOO! To all my Independent Contributors, The AE's, The SDR's of the world. If you are on Salesforce (SFDC) and you have not yet added the Scratchpad chrome extension. You're doing it wrong!
Scratchpad has solved my #1 problem as a rep – PIPELINE HYGIENE.
You can jump into any opp and change close dates, next steps and opp amounts from your entire pipeline list AT ONCE. No more opening 50 tabs to update pipeline 1 opp at a time.
Thank me later! I think I just saved 3 hours of my Friday and my manager is really happy going into last week of the month.
Our data hygiene has seen a total 180 since we implemented Scratchpad… If I want people to have more confidence in their forecast number, then they’re going to have to understand the information in Salesforce better and actually input that data into Salesforce. That’s what we accomplished with Scratchpad.
This is the way to Salesforce, period. For anyone that has to update Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Pipelines, or managing multiple reports for any of the above -- you need to try Scratchpad. The minute of setup will save you hours. I can't recommend Scratchpad enough!
Game changer! The ease by which sales reps (and RevOps) can maintain and update SFDC is now at another level… It gives us simplicity. You see the productivity lift immediately.
We're regaining hours per week our AEs previously spent updating Salesforce. A close second is our team have started using high-value features in Salesforce that we never used before because they were too cumbersome and time-consuming. We're getting 3-4x more Salesforce engagement than we did before Scratchpad.
Scratchpad is amazing. It's one of the tools that changes the game so much, you're left wondering how/why it did not exist sooner. I tested it out after a colleague recommended it to me and it's now a staple throughout our entire sales team.
I used to have to search through several tabs in SFDC to get the relevant information for my team. Scratchpad puts all of the relevant data that I need at my fingertips.
Awesome experience using Scratchpad !!! it changes my life for updating any opportunities into Salesforce in efficient manner, very easy and very quick!!! if you are a sales or managing director, or account executives....or any related sales role....Use scratchpad to save time every day.
Scratchpad has made compliance with getting data into Salesforce easier. Quick, easy, and organized layout. See only what you need!
Scratchpad helps us with ramping up our team quickly and ensuring that we are noting gaps in pipeline hygiene early. It helps us to drive deal analysis and forecasting.
I've been using Scratchpad for about a month now and it has been saving me hours every week in clicks and load screens in Salesforce. Not only is Scratchpad a joy to use, but it has actually got me logging a ton more info in Salesforce. Great stuff!
We were an early adopter of Scratchpad back in 2019. While the product was early it still provided great value for our teams. Fast forward to today, and the product has grown by leaps and bounds and we can't live without. It's helped us align and standardize around our process and methodology.
We completely rely on it and literally can't function without it. The Sales team is able to "save a ton of time when editing opportunities while avoiding a slow and rigid SFDC interface" and my reps are "able to quickly visualize my pipeline and the important data points in one place allows me to work faster". Both Sales and Customer Success "do almost all of my notes in Scratchpad as well -- makes it very easy to quick throw things in salesforce and keep things up to date."
Good ops teams should be figuring out how to make it easier for salespeople to sell and enablement is about providing the training, guidance, and coaching to make sales teams really effective. When you have an ops team and an enablement team that have sold before and have had any element of empathy for salespeople, it’s a no-brainer to buy Scratchpad.
Sales friends using Salesforce. This add on is a must and a game-changer for your workflow. The easiest way to update SFDC fields from one tab!
Also, do the 1x1 welcome session with the Scratchpad team, they unlocked many useable features that I wouldn't have found. Let me know if you have any questions. Sharing because I think this is pretty awesome.
I've seen Scratchpad make a number of lists, and you probably have too. It's a comprehensive solution that makes entering ANY data into Salesforce as simple as jotting notes in notepad. Service is A++. Shout out to Wunna Hlaing for hopping on numerous calls to make my CRM life waaaay easier. Check it out if you haven't.
Tired of "The record you were editing was modified by (INSERT USER) during your edit session"? Scratchpad is the solution. Edit & view multiple Salesforce entries just by searching by a unique field (name, phone number, email etc). The ability to move through (and edit) multiple records in Salesforce is a game-changer. No need to load a whole page if you just want to make a quick edit/reference.
Scratchpad has helped organize my pipeline, notes from calls and removed countless number of clicks that I would have had to take to update something in Salesforce. It's such a great resource for Account Executives and sales executives.
Scratchpad allows me to easily update Salesforce without having to navigate through creating Salesforce lists and reports. All of my daily prospects are listed for me to update in seconds. The new Scratchpad Command J feature has also been incredibly helpful as now I don't even need to take the steps to open a new tab but rather can update my leads from any browser window.
Purchasing Scratchpad will pay itself off within 1 week in sales productivity. I recommend this to any sales organization looking to streamline their operations and maximize rep productivity / organization.
Instead of bugging my reps in Slack everytime to ask for updates, I can comment right from Scratchpad itself which is so much simpler and more efficient.
If you use Salesforce, download Scratchpad ASAP!! It’s a game changer.
Scratchpad is a fan favorite here at Sendoso. It was actually our AEs and frontline sales managers who organically adopted it initially, and I was elated they were so enthusiastic about a tool that helps them keep pipeline/notes clean in Salesforce. We've since expanded this to any internal group that manages/owns records in SFDC, including CSM, Account Management, Onboarding, etc. Scratchpad has been a big boost in getting some newer less SFDC-savvy teams using CRM.
I use Salesforce too much to not use Scratchpad. After 8-10 hours a day in Salesforce working on notation and everything else I have to do, the thing I dread the most is updating everything in Salesforce one by one. Scatchpad literally saves me 60-90 minutes a day. Highly recommended!
We are solving for communication bottlenecks, knowledge transfer, documentation, account handoffs, team-based selling, the list goes on! Scratchpad solves all of those pain points.
We invested in Scratchpad to ensure that our Salesforce data was always accurate and clean. Sales reps do not typically like to update all of the Salesforce fields and Scratchpad takes away all the excuses because it is so easy to use.
The correlation that sold me was the people that had been using Scratchpad were the ones that the most accurate forecast, the ones that were updating real time, next steps on a deal. They had deals in the right sales stage. And that information was crucial.
Scratchpad is clean, fast, intuitive, and simple. The product is very robust, and gets better every week. I've had feature requests turned around the same day… Getting data into Salesforce without wanting to cry, getting clean data from my team without chasing them down in 1:1s.
Scratchpad makes one of the most time consuming tasks for any sales team a breeze -- Keeping your Salesforce up to date. You can get a high-level view of your opportunities in seconds, and easily update all the critical information to ensure your opportunities reflect the latest information.
Personally I use it to update next steps, amounts, and even MEDDIC fields quickly without having to go into each separate opportunity or worry about things saving. I easily save 20-30+ minutes a day which adds up quickly. It also makes it easy to share customized changes / views across your team so people aren't duplicating work.
I can now trust my data as I know reps are constantly updating their opportunities. Better forecasting. Better visibility into deals. Better chance of closing deals.
The flexibility - there are so many built-in features on Scratchpad that make my job as a RevOps professional more accessible and more streamlined.
Scratchpad has been critical to driving compliance with certain workflows and helping the reps stay on top of their pipeline. Some of my reps would quit if I ever took it away!
Some sales tools help a little, and few help a lot. If you're an AE, or need to keep track of anything in Salesforce period, then you need to check out Scratchpad – one of the few tools that help a lot.
Being blunt, salespeople tend to struggle keeping track of deals, which leads to losing sales. Wunna has helped us implement Scratchpad, which I can easily say has led to more deals closing because of better organization.
It took less than 5 minutes to get going, and it has saved us 30+ minutes per day since then.
Get at him, and get it going!
It fills a gap -- no one likes updating things in Salesforce, it's clunky, it's not easy to find all required fields, reps want spreadsheet like views -- and Scatchpad corrects for all of that and more. Views/tiles help drive rep behavior and ensures that all relevant info gets to Salesforce and is updated as needed.
Scratchpad is magnificent! Its user experience and interface are clean and very straightforward for our people. Especially since they don’t have much salesforce experience this will be a major help in their day to day processes. They will be able to update and work through their opportunities, and various objects utilizing the scratchpad functions like mass update! I have spent time with each of our reps this week and last and they didn’t even realize the functionality which is very exciting!
I've been searching for something like Scratchpad for a long time. Awesome tool that makes life easier if you work in sales. I highly recommend it! If you need help with anything the Scratchpad team is always there to offer their service.
Admin is the worst part of my day to day. I want to focus my time on strategic client conversations and optimization of campaigns. Using Scratchpad, I can quickly update my latest touch points and statuses without clicking away for account by account in SFDC. Huge time saver. Keep it up ✌️
Scratchpad.... where do I start? I have added Scratchpad into my workflow in my last and current role.... I have adopted Scratchpad for the last year with a heavy refusal to change. This tool takes the headache out of the admin work you have to do as an AE. In prior roles when I'd only work out of Salesforce, I didn't take near enough time updating opportunities/account information as well as using very limited fields.
Transitioning over to Scratchpad, my opportunities and accounts are rich with information. I use 5x as many fields as I've used in previous years - This meaning healthier Salesforce notes and my manager has a better understanding of my pipeline without having to always nudge me.
Working out of ScratchPad gives me more than enough time back to focus on things that are more critical to the success of my role!
